Isabel Barreras, M.P.A, has served as Director of Classified Personnel – Personnel Commission for Madera Unified School District since 2017. Isabel has worked at Madera Unified since 1988 in various positions and has extensive experience with Human Resources, Personnel Commissions, classified contract negotiations, and District FMLA/CFRA Leaves. She currently serves as Chair for the State Center Community College District Personnel Commission and prior to that she served as a member of the Board of Trustees from (2002-2014). Isabel has held many leadership positions such as Regional Representative for the California School Employees Association (CSEA), Board Member for the California Community Colleges Board of Governors, and Board Chair for the California Community College Trustees Association (CCCT) and currently serves as Vice - President of the School Personnel Commissions Association of the Northern Region (SPCA/NC), serves as Training Director for the California School Personnel Commissions Association (CSPCA) and also serves as a Director for the Madera Fair Board. Isabel also enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
